Online appointment requests for tattoo artists – where an enquiry is not yet a booking

A consultation and a multi-hour session are not the same booking.

Set up the consultation, touch-up, smaller and larger work as separate services, each with its own duration and custom pricing. The client requests a time; you approve it, propose another, or — if you want to talk first — offer a consultation.

Why it works for tattoo artists

Not every job takes the same time

A consultation can be 30 minutes, a larger piece several hours — you set a separate duration for each.

An enquiry does not become an appointment yet

An incoming request is not a final appointment before you approve it. If you want to talk first, the consultation can appear as a separate requestable service.

Not every job has a fixed price up front

You can mark a service as custom-priced, so you don’t have to give a fixed amount in advance.

How controlled appointment requests work

  1. The client requests a time

They pick the service and send their appointment request.

  2. You decide

You see the chosen service, its duration and the requested time; you approve it, propose another time, or decline the request.

  3. A consultation can be requested separately

If you want to talk first, the consultation can be requested as a separate service — with its own duration.

What you gain

For you

Several hours of your day aren’t automatically booked for a request you haven’t approved yet.

For the client

They know their request has arrived, and they get a notification about your decision or the alternative time you propose.

See it on a sample tattoo studio page

Try it the way your client will: choose a service, send an appointment request, then see as the owner how it arrives and how it’s handled.

As a solo tattoo artist, Starter is enough

For one person and one location, Starter is a good starting point. For multiple staff we recommend the Pro plan.

Frequently asked questions

How do I handle the consultation and the actual work?

You can add the consultation and the actual work as separate services, each with its own duration. The client picks between them on the booking page, and you approve it or propose another time.

Can I mark a price as custom?

Yes. A service’s pricing can be marked as custom, so you don’t have to give a fixed amount in advance.

Do I need a credit card to request a notification?

No. All we need for the launch notification is your email address.
